Rainbow Room Donations

Texas CASA made it a priority to donate items to the DFPS Rainbow Rooms in Austin/Travis County in February! Rainbow Rooms are 24/7 resource centers usually located within local Child Protective Services (CPS) offices. In the Rainbow Room, CPS caseworkers can get supplies for children who are victims of abuse or neglect – clothing, school supplies, diapers, and much more.

A special thank you goes to the Texas CASA Fund Development Team for their leadership in organizing and promoting this donation drive. Their efforts made it easy for staff across the organization to get involved and make a difference.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who participated and contributed. It is an honor to support the important work of the DFPS Rainbow Rooms and to play even a small role in creating brighter, more hopeful experiences for children and youth in care. Together, we are helping ensure that every child has access to the essentials they need and the kindness they deserve.
