Join us on Monday, February 26 from 12 – 1 p.m. to learn all about the Foster Care Ombudsman (FCO) for youth and children from our guest Raven Sowell, HHS Foster Care Ombudsman Manager. Youth in foster care have a right to ask questions or file a complaint with the FCO if any of their rights have been violated or ignored. This presentation will include: what happens when a youth contacts the FCO office with a complaint, how CASA volunteers can aid the youth during their call, FCO youth protections and policies, FCO investigations/limitations and more.
